| each | 28 oz. canned tomatoes | | 1
| each | 8 oz. tomatoe paste | | 1/3
| cup | Wine, dry red | | 1 1/2
| tbsp | Parmesan | | 1 1/4
| tsp | Sugar | | 2
| tbsp | Minced Onion | | 4
| each | Garlic cloves | | 2
| tbsp | Oregano | | 2
| tbsp | Rosemary | | 1
| tbsp | Thyme | | 2
| tbsp | Basil | | 1
| tbsp | Parsley | | 2
| each | Bay Leaf | | | Salt | | | Pepper |

Procedures:
| 1 | (use fresh herbs, or cut the amount by 1/3) pierce sausage link with fork. | | 2 | Place in baking pan with ?cup water and broil, turning once, until browned. | | 3 | Reserve pan drippings. | | 4 | Mash or cut tomatoes and add remaining ingredients. | | 5 | Mix in sausage links and pan drippings. | | 6 | Simmer 4-6 hours or until mixture reaches desired consistency. | | 7 | Remove bay leaves before serving. | | 8 | Freezes well. |
