Oriental sausage and rice casserole

Ingredients:
1 lbsBulk pork sausage
1 medChopped bell pepper
4 ozCan sliced mushrooms
2 tbspSoy sauce
1 medChopped onion
6 ozPkg rice
8 ozCan sliced water chestnuts
3 cupChicken broth OR 3 cup water
-and 2 tablespoon chicken
Bouillon may be used
Procedures:
1Crumble sausage into 2 quart casserole.
2Add onion, bell pepper, and drained mushrooms.
3Cover and microwave on high for 5-7 minutes stirring once.
4Drain on paper towel, set aside.
5Combine soy sauce, rice, drained chestnuts, and chicken broth.
6Cover and microwave on high for 6-7 minutes.
7Stir.
8Then cover and microwave on medium, 50 percent power, for 30-35 minutes.
9Stir in sausage mix, cover and microwave on medium 15-20 minutes until rice is tender and dry
