Ingredients:

| lbs | Split peas | | 1 1/2
| cup | Sugar | | 1
| tbsp | Gelatin | | | Water | | | Green food coloring | | | (if desired) |

Procedures:
| 1 | Soak split peas overnight in 6 c water. | | 2 | Drain. | | 3 | Pressure cook over low heat in 5 c water for 1 hr or until very soft. | | 4 | You may cook on top of the stove as for soup as well. | | 5 | Strain peas into a saucepan. | | 6 | Soak gelatin in ?c water. | | 7 | Mix peas, sugar, gelatin, and food coloring. | | 8 | Let set in fridge at least 4 hrs or until set. | | 9 | Cut into squares and serve |
