Golden toffee sauce

Ingredients:
1/2 cupFirmly Packed Brown Sugar
1/2 cupSugar
3/4 cupWhipping Cream
1/3 cupMargarine or Butter
2 tspBrandy
Procedures:
1In small saucepan, combine sugars, cream and margarine.
2Heat to simmering; cook over low heat, stirring constantly, for 2 minutes.
3Remove from heat; add brandy.
4Serve warm over cran-brandy pudding (see previous recipe)>i have never tried this recipe.
