Recipe by: bette@wc.novell.com (Elizabeth Brennan) (serve cold, room
Temp or warm)
Cook beans with 3 slices of fresh ginger. Drain liquid and add rice
Wine vinegar, sugar and black pepper to beans. In a small frying pan
Sautee chopped garlic, cumin seeds (or ground) and two dried red
Chilies in olive oil or ghee. Add to beans. When beans have cooled
To room temp, stir in yogurt. Add salt to taste.
I left the ginger and chilies in the pot and warned my guests. You
Could remove them before serving. Sorry about the lack of quantities
This was a creative, stream of consciousness kind of recipe. The
Results were highly praised.
