Ingredients:
1 cupBulgur Wheat
2 cupWater, boiling
2 Tomatoes, finely diced
1 bunchGreen Onions, sliced
3 tspMint, freshly chopped -or-
2 tbspMint, dried
2 cupParsley, freshly chopped
-fine
1/2 cupLemon Juice, freshly
-squeezed
1/4 cupOlive Oil
Procedures:
1A traditional middle eastern dish containing bulgur wheat and fresh herbs.
2Serve with toasted pita chips (see separate recipe) and raw vegetables.
3Black pepper, freshly ground, to taste place uncooked bulgur in a bowl; pour boiling water over it and let it soak 1 hour (stir occasionally).
4Drain well in a fine strainer.
5Return bulgur to the bowl and add all other ingredients; mix well.
6Chill for 2 hours.
