Ingredients:
1 lbsFresh fish filets
4 Potatoes, peeled, sliced
Salt and pepper
1/4 cupDiced salt pork
1 smallOnion, diced
2 cupMilk, scalded
Procedures:
1Cook fish slowly in small amount of water until fish flakes when tried with a fork.
2Remove fish and flake.
3Cook potatoes in fish water until tender.
4Fry out salt pork, add onion and cook slowly until lightly browned.
5Add fish, salt pork and onions to potatoes in fish water.
6Next, pour milk into pan, heat and add to chowder.
7Season with salt and pepper.
8Crushed crackers may be added to the chowder.
