Ingredients:

| lbs | Fresh fish filets | | 4
| | Potatoes, peeled, sliced | | | Salt and pepper | | 1/4
| cup | Diced salt pork | | 1
| small | Onion, diced | | 2
| cup | Milk, scalded |

Procedures:
| 1 | Cook fish slowly in small amount of water until fish flakes when tried with a fork. | | 2 | Remove fish and flake. | | 3 | Cook potatoes in fish water until tender. | | 4 | Fry out salt pork, add onion and cook slowly until lightly browned. | | 5 | Add fish, salt pork and onions to potatoes in fish water. | | 6 | Next, pour milk into pan, heat and add to chowder. | | 7 | Season with salt and pepper. | | 8 | Crushed crackers may be added to the chowder. | | 9 | Yield: 4 serving |
