Maharagwe (spiced red beans in coconut milk)

Ingredients:
1 cupDried red kidney beans
2 medYellow onions, chopped
1 tbspOil
2 eachTomatoes, chopped
1 tspSalt
2 tspTurmeric
3 eachChili peppers, ground
2 cupCoconut milk
Procedures:
1In a large pot, cover the beans with water & simmer until they are tender.
2Saute the onions in the oil until golden.
3Add, with the remaining ingredients, to the pot & simmer for several minutes until the beans are very tender & the tomatoes are cooked.
4Serve over rice or a stiff porridge
