Ingredients:

| cup | Butter or margarine | | 1 1/3
| cup | Brown sugar, packed | | 1
| | Egg | | 1
| large | Apple, peeled, cored, and | | | -finely chopped | | 1
| cup | Raisins | | 1
| cup | Nuts, finely chopped | | 1/4
| cup | Apple juice | | 1
| tsp | Grated lemon peel | | 3
| cup | All purpose flour | | 1
| tsp | Baking soda | | 1
| tsp | Cinnamon | | 1
| tsp | Nutmeg | | | GLAZE | | 1 1/2
| cup | Powdered sugar, sifted | | 3
| tbsp | Apple or lemon juice | | 1
| tbsp | Butter |

Procedures:
| 1 | Cream butter with sugar in large bowl until light and fluffy. | | 2 | Stir in egg, apples, raisins, nuts, apple juice and lemon peel. | | 3 | Blend in flour, baking soda, cinnamon and nutmeg and mix well. | | 4 | Drop dough by teaspoons on greased cookie sheet and bake at 375°F for 10 to 12 minutes. | | 5 | Prepare glaze by mixing indredients in food processor or blender. | | 6 | Transfer to bowl. | | 7 | Remove cookies from oven. | | 8 | Let cool slightly on wire rack. | | 9 | Dip top of each warm cookie into glaze swirling to cover. | | 10 | Return to rack and cool completely. | | 11 | Store in airtight container |
