Ingredients:

| cup | Cornmeal | | 3
| cup | Milk, scalded | | 2
| tsp | Salt | | 1
| tsp | Sugar | | 1
| tbsp | Butter, melted | | 3
| | Egg yolks, beaten | | 3
| | Egg whites, stifly beaten |

Procedures:
| 1 | After scalding the milk in a saucepan over high heat, reduce to low and add cornmeal. | | 2 | Cook 5 minutes. | | 3 | Add salt and cool slightly. | | 4 | Add the butter and sugar then add the egg yolks, stirring rapidly and mixing well. | | 5 | Fold in the egg whites. | | 6 | Bake in a greased baking dish 350 °F, about 45 minutes. | | 7 | Serve immediately |
