5 cupLight, clear chicken stock
10 Fresh medium shrimp (OR
1/4 lbsCooked baby shrimp)
8 Water chestnuts
2 Green onions
1 tspSalt
Procedures:
1Simple soups play an important role in chinese cuisine because they refresh the palate without neutralizing food flavors.
2Preparation: wash, shell & devein shrimp.
3Slice water chestnuts into thin circles.
4Mince entire green onions.
5Bring stock to boil with onions & water chestnuts.
6Add shrimp & salt.
7Taste & correct salt if necessary.
