Ingredients:
3 tbspButter or margarine
1 largeOnion, chopped
3 Stalks celery, sliced
3 Potatoes, peeled and chopped
1 can(8 oz) tomato sauce
1 can(14.5 oz) tomatoes
1 can(13.75 oz) chicken broth
1 McCORMICK'S Bay Leaf
1 tspMcCORMICK'S Basil Leaves
1 tspMcCORMICK'S Garlic Powder
1 tspMcCORMICK'S Oregano Leaves
1 lbsFrozen fish fillets (cod
-haddock, or
Sole), cut into 1-in cubes
1 can(6.5 oz) chopped clams
-undrained
1 lbsShrimp, peeled, deveined
-and chopped
Procedures:
1From the mccormick/schilling "spice "xpress" newsletter vol.5, no.2
2in a dutch oven, saute vegetables in butter/margarine over low heat until onions are transparent.
3Add tomato sauce, tomatoes, broth, bay leaf, basil, garlic, and oregano; cover and simmer for 20 minutes.
4Add fish, clams, and shrimp; simmer for 15 minutes more.
