Ingredients:
1/4 cupVegetable oil
1 cupWater, hot
1 lbsFish fillets, fresh, 1" cubes
1/2 cupParsley, chopped
4 eachGarlic cloves, finely chopped
1 1/2 tbspSalt
1 pinchCayenne pepper
3 cupRice, hot cooked
1/4 cupFlour, all-purpose
1 lbsShrimp, shelled/deveined
1 canTomato sauce(8oz)
1/4 cupGreen bell pepper, chopped
2 eachBay leaves
1/2 tbspThyme
1 eachLemon slice, seeded
Procedures:
1Heat oil over medium heat in large skillet; blend in flour, stirring constantly, until brown (be careful not to scorch).?Add water gradually and cook until thick and smooth.?Add remaining ingredients except rice; cover and simmer 12 minutes.?Remove bay leaves and lemon slice.?Serve spooned over hot cooked rice.?/td>
