Shrimp sauteed with white wine

Ingredients:
1 lbsLarge shrimp
2 tbspOlive oil
2 Garlic cloves, minced
1/4 cupWhite wine
2 tbspMinced parsley
1 tspSalt
1/4 tspPepper
Procedures:
1A basic "shrimp scampi"-type recipe.
2Vary this recipe by adding fresh herbs (rosemary, tarragon, oregano) or vegetables (snow peas, red peppers, tomatoes, sun-dried tomatoes).
3I suggest serving it over linguine.
4peel and devein the shrimp.
5Heat the olive oil in a saute pan.
6Add the garlic and saute 1 minute.
7Add the shrimp and saute just until they turn pink.
8Add the wine and cook until it begins to simmer.
9Sprinkle with parsley and stir in the salt and pepper.
