Ingredients:
1/2 cupSoy Sauce
2 tbspSugar
1 tbspVegetable Oil
1 1/2 tspCornstarch
1 Clove Garlic, Crushed
1 tspMinced Fresh Ginger Root
2 tbspWater
2 lbsMedium Sized Raw Shrimp
-Peeled And Deveined
Procedures:
1Blend soy sauce, sugar, oil, cornstarch, garlic, ginger and water inn small saucepan.
2Simmer, stirring constantly, until thickened, about 1 minute; cool.
3Coat shrimp with sauce; drain off excess.
4Place on rack of broiler pan.
5Broil 5 inches from heat source 3 to 4 minutes on each side, or until shrimp are opaque and cooked.
6Serve immediately with wooden picks
