Procedures:
| 1 | Blend soy sauce, sugar, oil, cornstarch, garlic, ginger and water inn small saucepan. | | 2 | Simmer, stirring constantly, until thickened, about 1 minute; cool. | | 3 | Coat shrimp with sauce; drain off excess. | | 4 | Place on rack of broiler pan. | | 5 | Broil 5 inches from heat source 3 to 4 minutes on each side, or until shrimp are opaque and cooked. | | 6 | Serve immediately with wooden picks |
