Smoked salmon and endive tea sandwiches

Ingredients:
6 ozCream cheese
1 Scallion -- finely chopped
4 sliceBlack bread
6 ozSmoked salmon -- thinly
Sliced
1 Head endive -- leaves
Separated and
Washed
Procedures:
1In a mixing bowl, beat cream cheese with a wooden spoon until soft.
2Stir in scallions.
3spread mixture in a thin layer on bread slices.
4Place salmon on two of the slices; top with endive.
5Cover with remaining slices of bread, pressing down gently.
6refrigerate sandwiches until firm, then trim edges, forming rectangles.
7Cut lengthwise into quarters.
