Ingredients:

| cup | 5 oz. deveined medium shrimp | | 1 1/2
| tbsp | Minced shallots or scallions | | 2
| tbsp | Brandy | | 1 1/2
| tsp | Freshly grated ginger or 1 | | 2
| tbsp | Minced parsley | | 4
| tsp | Grated parmesan cheese | | 1/4
| cup | Butter | | 1
| med | Clove garlic, mashed | | 2
| tsp | Soy sauce | | | Teaspoon powdered ginger | | 4
| tsp | Fresh bread crumbs |

Procedures:
| 1 | Directions drain shrimp. | | 2 | Rinse under cold water andthen soak for 10 - 15 minutesin cold water to remove preserving brine. | | 3 | Drain thoroughly and put on paper towels. | | 4 | Heat butter in skillet until it bubbles. | | 5 | Add shallots and garlic, and saute gently until golden. | | 6 | Add shrimp and toss for a minute or two to warm through. | | 7 | Mix in brandy, soy and ginger, along with parsley. | | 8 | Spoon the shrimp mixture into shells or ovenproof glass individual serving dishes, leaving any juice in pan. | | 9 | Sprinkle each serving with bread crumbs and parmesan cheese and then dribble pan juices over top. | | 10 | Heat under broiler until mixture is bubbling ane the crumbs are browned. | | 11 | Submitted by marina source cooking better for less |
