| 1 | Recipe by: elizabeth powell preparation time: 1:15 combine sugar and water in a small saucepan; bring to a boil and boil for 5 minutes. |
| 2 | Remove from heat, cool slightly. |
| 3 | Reserve one lemon to slice for garnish. |
| 4 | Grate zest of two lemons; juice eight lemons. |
| 5 | Combine juice and zest with warm syrup. |
| 6 | Steep one hour. |
| 7 | Strain. |
| 8 | To serve: mix 1 part lemonade concentrate with 2 parts water. |
| 9 | Serve over ice. |
| 10 | Garnish with lemon slices and mint |
