Herbed potato patties

Ingredients:
3 largePotatoes
1 tbspGhee
1 tspSalt
1/4 tspBlack pepper
1/8 tspNutmeg
1/4 tspTurmeric
1 tbspLemon juice
1/2 tbspMinced chilies
2 tbspFresh coriander
3 tbspChick pea flour
Ghee for frying
Procedures:
1Boil the potatoes in their jackets until just fork tender.
2Peel them & mash them until they are very smooth.
3Add the remaining ingredients except the ghee.
4Knead until well blended.
5Divide into 8 portions.
6Wash & dry your hands & then rub them a little vegetable oil.
7Roll each ball in your hands & then flatten into a small round patty about ?inch thick.
8Brush a griddle or skilet with ghee.
9Place over the lowest heat possible &, when the pan is hot, add the patties in a single layer.
10Pan fry for 15 to 20 minutes per side until a redish brown crust is formed.
11Serve hot.
