Ingredients:
1 medRed cabbage, shredded
1/2 Red wine vinegar
2 Granny smith apples, peel/co
1/2 cupSugar
3/4 cupWater
1 medOnion, diced
1/4 cupButter
1/2 Beer
Sm Bay leaf
Pinch of cinnamon
Pinch of ground cloves
Pinch of allspice
Salt and pepper, to taste

2Greenleaf) place all ingredients in a covered pot (i always use one of my le cruesets) and bring to a boil.
3Reduce heat and cook slowly for about an hour.
4Taste and adjust seasonings.
