Pickled baby corn on the cob

Ingredients:
1 1/2 cupSugar
1 cupVinegar
1/4 tspGround turmeric
1/2 tspCelery seed
1/4 tspDry mustard
1 Clove garlic, minced
1 1/2 lbsFresh baby corn on the cob
-husked
Procedures:
1In a large saucepan stir together sugar, vinegar, turmeric, celery seed, mustard, and garlic.
2Add corn.
3Bring to a full boil.
4Boil gently for 2 minutes.
5Remove from heat.
6Cool slightly.
7Tranfer corn to a moisture and vapor-proof container.
8Add enough of the cooking liquid to cover.
9Cover and chill in refrigerator for up to 1 week.
