Vegetable nut pate

Ingredients:
1 tbspVegetable oil or water
1 largeOnion
1 cupGreen beans, trimmed
1 cupCashews
1 tbspLemon juice
Salt to taste
Pepper to taste
Procedures:
1Heat the oil or water in a small frying pan.
2Cook the onion slowly over moderately low heat, stirring frequently, until very soft - about 5-7 minutes.
3Steam the green beans over boiling water until just tender, about 10 minutes.
4Place the onion, beans and the remaining ingredients in a food processor and puree until smooth.
5Transfer the pate to a serving bowl and serve immediate.
6The pate can be refrigerated, but bring it to room temperature before serving.
7Preparation time, 20 minutes.
