Hummus 6

Ingredients:
2 cupChick peas, drained --
Canned
2 Cloves garlic -- mashed
2/3 cupTahina paste (ground sesame
Seeds)
1 tspSalt
1/4 cupLemon juice
1/4 tspCumin
Parsley -- for garnish
Procedures:
1Place all the ingredients except parsley in a food mill or blender.
2Mix until the chickpeas are smooth.
3Store the hummus in acovered container in the refrigerator.
4Serve well chilled, and just before serving sprinkle top with chopped parsley.
5Can leave a few chickpeas unmashed to sprinkle on top for garnish.
6More garlic may be added, if desired.
7Also if a thinner consistency is required for serving as a dip with light chips (like potato chips) may add more lemon juice.
8Serve with pita, crackers or thick slices of french or italian bread
