Ingredients:
| 2
| cup | Chick peas, drained -- | | | Canned | | 2
| | Cloves garlic -- mashed | | 2/3
| cup | Tahina paste (ground sesame | | | Seeds) | | 1
| tsp | Salt | | 1/4
| cup | Lemon juice | | 1/4
| tsp | Cumin | | | Parsley -- for garnish |

Procedures:
| 1 | Place all the ingredients except parsley in a food mill or blender. | | 2 | Mix until the chickpeas are smooth. | | 3 | Store the hummus in acovered container in the refrigerator. | | 4 | Serve well chilled, and just before serving sprinkle top with chopped parsley. | | 5 | Can leave a few chickpeas unmashed to sprinkle on top for garnish. | | 6 | More garlic may be added, if desired. | | 7 | Also if a thinner consistency is required for serving as a dip with light chips (like potato chips) may add more lemon juice. | | 8 | Serve with pita, crackers or thick slices of french or italian bread |
