Ingredients:
1/2 cupOlive oil
2 cupTightly packed basil leaves
1/4 cupTightly packed fresh parsley
3/4 cupGrated parmesan cheese
2 Cloves Garlic, cut in half
1/2 tspSalt
Pepper to taste
2 tbspPine nuts
12 In. Pizza crusts
Procedures:
1Preheat oven to 425 degrees.
2For pesto sauce, place oil, basil, parsley, ?cup cheese, garlic, salt and pepper and pine nuts in a processor or blender.
3Using on-off turns, process or blend ingredients for about 2 minutes, scraping down sides of blender or processor bowl once or twice.
4Spread half of pesto sauce evenly over each pizza, coming to within ?inch of edge.
5Bake until top bubbles, 4 to 5 minutes.
6Sprinkle with remaining ?cup of cheese.
7Slice and serve immediately.
8Makes two 12 inch pizzas.
