Ingredients:

| cup | Quick-cooking oats | | 1/2
| cup | Sugar | | 3/4
| cup | Butter, melted | | 1/2
| tsp | Baking soda | | 1/4
| tsp | Salt | | 2

| | 10-oz jar (?cup) apricot | | | -preserves | | 1/2
| cup | Flaked coconut |

Procedures:
| 1 | Heat oven to 350 degrees. | | 2 | In large mixer bowl comine all crumb mixture ingredients. | | 3 | Beat at low speed until crumbly. | | 4 | Reserve 1 cup crumb mixture; press remaining crumb mixture on bottom of greased 13x9-inch baking pan. | | 5 | Spread apricot preserves to within ?inch from edge of crumb mixture; sprinkle with reserved crumb mixture and coconut. | | 6 | Bake for 22 to 27 minutes or until edges are lightly browned. | | 7 | Cool completely; cut into bars. |
