Ingredients:
MR FOOD CKBK
2 cupWater
10 1/4 ozCn chicken broth
1 cupCarrots, sliced
1/2 cupOnion, chpd
1 clGarlic, sm, minced
1/8 tspPepper
2 cupBroccoli, coarsely chpd
2 tbspAll purp flour
3/4 cupMilk
1 1/2 cupSwiss cheese, shredded
Procedures:
1Sure to get raves.
2Use any combo of veggies--fresh, frozen, or leftover.
3If using cooked vegs add after stirring flour mixture into soup base.
4place water, broth, carrots, onion, garlic, and pepper in lg saucepan.
5Bring to boil, cover, reduce heat; simmer 10 mins.
6Add broccoli; return soup to boil.
7Meanwhile combine flour and milk.
8Slowly add to boiling soup stirring constantly.
9Cook over med heat, stirring occasionally, 10 mins or until thickened and bubbling.
10Stir in cheese.
