Green tea ice cream

Ingredients:
1 quartMilk
1/2 ozJapan green tea, powdered
15 Egg yolks
2 1/2 cupSugar
1 cupCream, heavy
1 cupHalf and half
Procedures:
1Bring milk to a boil.
2Remove from heat and add green tea.
3Mix well.
4In separate bowl, beat egg yolks and sugar together until they form a ribbon.
5Combine egg mixture and milk, then strain into saucepan.
6Cook over medium-high heat until just before mixture reaches a boil.
7Remove from the heat and cool completely over ice water.
8Beat heavy cream and half-and-half over ice water until frothy.
9Pour into egg mixture and mix well.
10Process in ice cream maker according to manufacturer"s instructions.
11Freeze for 2-3 hours (to ripen) before serving.
