| med | Onion, sliced | | 3
| cup | Chopped mixed vegetables | | 2
| tsp | Salt | | 1/2
| tsp | Black pepper | | 2
| tbsp | Soy sauce | | 1
| liter | Water | | | 1 bn Watercress cleaned & chopped |

Procedures:
| 1 | Heat oil in a soup pot & stir fry onion for 1 minute. | | 2 | Add vegetables, salt, pepper & soy sauce. | | 3 | Fry together for 2 minutes. | | 4 | Add water & bring to a boil. | | 5 | Simmer till the vegetables are tender. | | 6 | Add watercress & serve. | | 7 | jack santa maria, "chinese vegetarian cookery" |
