Procedures:
| 1 | Combine all ingredients in a large bowl; stir until well blended. | | 2 | Put about 1 ?cups of mix into three 1-pint airtight containers and label as mexican rice mix. | | 3 | Store in a cool, dry place and use within 6 to 8 months. | | 4 | Makes about 4 ?cups of mix. | | 5 | Mexican rice: combine 1 ?cups of mix, 2 cups cold water, and 1 t butter or margarine in a medium saucepan. | | 6 | Bring to a boil over high heat; cover and reduce heat. | | 7 | Cook for 15 to 25 minutes, until liquid is absorbed. | | 8 | Makes 4 to 6 servings |
