Ingredients:

1 3/4 cupFlour sifted
1/2 tspBaking soda
1 tspBaking powder
1/4 tspSalt
1 cupBlack walnuts, chopped
1/2 cupButter
1 1/4 cupBrown sugar, sifted
Packed
1 Egg
2 ozUnsweetened chocolate
-melted and cooled
1 tspVanilla extract
1/2 cupMilk
CHOCOLATE FROSTING
1 1/2 ozUnsweetened chocolate, melt
1 Egg yolk
3 tbspLight cream
1 1/4 cupConfectioners' sugar, sifted
Procedures:
1Mix and sift flour, baking soda, powder and salt; add nuts and mix.
2Cream butter and add sugar gradually and cream until fluffy.
3Add well-beaten egg and chocolate.
4Add extract to milk.
5Add dry ingredients alternately with milk to creamed mixture, mixing just enough after each addition to combine ingredients.
6Drop by spoonfuls on ungreased baking sheets.
7Bake in a preheated oven for 12 minutes.
8When cool spread with chocolate frosting.
9Combine chocolate, slightly beaten egg yolk, and cream; add sugar and mix well.
