Ingredients:
2 1/2 lbsSugar-cured ham
6 ozDr. Schnitzel's hot sauce
4 ozScotch Bonnet pepper sauce
1 lbsLentils
1 lbsKidney Beans
4 ozTabasco Sauce
Water
Procedures:
1Put the ham, lentils and beans in enough water to cover.
2Cook until beans are done.
3Put in all hot sauces.
4Cook several more hours, until the flavor is all through the ham, which is thoroughly broken apart.
5Serve with something cold to drink.
6It"s great for your sinuses.
7I just threw this together because i was feeling reckless, but the taste was wonderful, and the stuff freezes well, too.
8Both dr.
9Schnitzel"s and the scotch bonnet pepper sauce are habaņero sauces, which i think accounts for the wonderful flavor (as well as the heat).
10Tabasco alone would work, if you used a *lot*, but the flavor wouldn"t be as good, i think.
