Ingredients:

| tbsp | Corn oil | | 2
| | Garlic cloves, crushed | | 1
| | ? piece ginger root | | | -peeled, chopped | | 1
| cup | Popping corn | | 1/4
| cup | Butter | | 2
| tsp | Hot chili sauce | | 2
| tbsp | Chopped fresh parsley | | | Salt to taste |

Procedures:
| 1 | Heat oil in a saucepan. | | 2 | Add 1 clove of crushed garlic, ginger and popping corn. | | 3 | Stir well. | | 4 | Cover and cook over medium-high heat 3-5 minutes, holding lid firmly and shaking pan frequently until popping stops. | | 5 | Turn popped corn onto a dish, discarding any unpopped corn kernels. | | 6 | Melt butter in pan. | | 7 | Stir in remaining clove of crushed garlic and chili sauce. | | 8 | Return corn to pan and toss well until evenly coated with mixture. | | 9 | Add parsley and salt and stir well. | | 10 | Turn into a serving dish. | | 11 | Serve warm or cold. | | 12 | Variation: omit chili sauce and add 1 teaspoon dry mustard, 1 teaspoon paprika, ?teaspoon ground coriander and 2 tablespoons chopped fresh chives to melted butter. |
