Ingredients:
3 cupWhole wheat flour
1 tbspSugar
1 1/2 tspSalt
1 tspOregano leaves
1 packDry yeast
1 cupVery warm water (120?130¦F)
2 tbspMargarine, softened
Cornmeal
1 cupPizza sauce
1 cupShredded mozzarella cheese
Procedures:
1In large bowl, mix 1 cup flour, sugar, salt, oregano and yeast.
2Add warm water and margarine to dry ingredients; beat 2 minutes at medium speed of mixer.
3Add ?cup flour; beat at high speed 2 minutes.
4Stir in enough remaining flour to make stiff dough.
5Knead 8 to 10 minutes.
6Set in greased bowl; turn to grease top.
7Cover; let rise until doubled, about 1 hour.
8Punch dough down.
9Divide into 8 equal pieces; shape into balls.
10Cover; let rest 10 minutes.
11Roll and stretch each ball to a 5-inch circle.
12Place on greased baking sheets sprinkled with cornmeal.
13Shape edges of each circle into a standing rim of dough.
14Cover; let rise until doubled, about 1 hour.
15Bake at 375°F for 8 to 10 minutes.
16Spread each round with 2 tablespoons pizza sauce, sprinkle with cheese and your favorite topping.
17Bake about 10 minutes more.
