Cheddar potatoes with wreath of vegetables

Ingredients:
1 1/2 cupWater
2 tbspButter
1/8 tspGarlic powder
1/8 tspPepper
3 cupInstant mashed potatoes
1 cupMilk
4 ozShredded cheddar cheese
2 tspPrepared mustard
2 Eggs, slightly beaten
2 8 oz packages frozen
Broccoli, cauliflower, and
Carrot mixture
2 tbspButter
Procedures:
1Heat oven to 325 degrees.
2Lightly butter 2-quart casserole.
3In medium saucepan, bring water, 2 t butter, garlic powder ad pepper to a boil.
4Remove from heat; stir in potato flakes, milk, cheese, mustard and eggs until well blended.
5Place potato mixture in buttered casserole.
6Using back of spoon, make indentation in potato mixture around edge of casserole 2 inches wide by 1 inch deep.
7Bake uncovered at 325 °F for 20 to 25 minutes or until thoroughly heated.
8Meanwhile, cook vegetables according to package directions; drain.
9Add 2 t butter, stir to coat.
10Spoon cooked vegetables into indented ring in hot potato mixture.
