Ingredients:

| tbsp | EDEN Hot Pepperer Sesame Oil | | 1
| | Clove garlic | | | -- minced or pressed | | 1/2
| | Onion, thinly sliced | | 1
| cup | Green beans | | | -- (clean and trim ends) | | 1 1/2
| tbsp | EDEN White (Shiro) Miso | | | -dissolved in | | 1/2
| cup | Water or stock | | 1
| tsp | EDEN OrganiC Barley Malt | | | -OR- maple syrup | | 1 1/2
| tsp | EDEN Mirin | | 2
| tsp | EDEN Kudzu or arrowroot |

Procedures:
| 1 | In a large skillet, heat hot pepper oil and saute garlic for 30 seconds. | | 2 | Add onion and saute until translucent. | | 3 | Add green beans and saute for 3-5 minutes. | | 4 | Mix dissolved miso, barley malt, mirin and kudzu or arrowroot together. | | 5 | Add to hot vegetable mixture and simmer, stirring constantly for about one minute or until thick. | | 6 | Serve as a side dish or as a topping for noodles. | | 7 | Prep time: 10 minutes cooking time: 5-10 minutes yield: 2 servings |
