Green tomato and onion casserole

Ingredients:
2 tbspAll-purpose flour
2 tbspPacked brown sugar
Sugar
1/2 tspSalt
1/2 tspDry mustard
1/4 tspPepper
1/4 tspCloves
4 Green tomatoes
1 Large onion, thinly sliced
2 tbspButter
Procedures:
1In a small bowl, stir together flour, sugar, salt, mustard, pepper and cloves; set aside.
2Cut out stem ends and slice tomatoes ?inch thick.
3In greased 8 cup casserole dish, arrange tomatoes and onion in alternate layers, starting and ending with tomatoes and sprinkling each layer with about 1 tbsp. of the four mixture.
4Dot with butter; cover and bake in 350¦oven for 45 minutes.
5Uncover and stir; bake for about 30 minutes longer or until onions are tender.
6Makes about 4 servings.
