Guisadong sitao (sauteed long beans)

Ingredients:
YIELD: 5 SERVINGS
3 cupChinese long beans (sitao)
- cut into 2-inch pieces
1 ea Tb vegetable oil
2 ea Clove garlic, minced
2 medOnion, sliced
1 medTomato, sliced
1/2 cupSliced pork
1/2 cupShrimp, shelled
1/4 cupShrimp juice (optional)
1 ea Tb soy sauce)
Salt and pepper to taste
Procedures:
1In a skillet over medium heat, saute garlic in oil until lightly browned.
2Add onion and tomato slices and cook for 2 minutes.
3Add pork and soy sauce.
4Simmer for about 15 minutes or until pork is tender.
5Add shrimps, long beans, shrimp juice, a little salt and pepper, and let cook for another 10-15 minutes or until long beans are tender.
6Correct seasoning to taste.
7Transfer to a serving container and serve immediately.
8Serves 4-5 note: green beans can be used in palce of the long beans in this recipe.
