Ingredients:
8 McIntosh or other cooking
-apples, (2 ?lb), peeled
-and cut into chunks
1 1/2 cupWater
3/4 cupSugar
Pn Cinnamon
Procedures:
1Combine apples, water, sugar, and cinnamon in lg.
2Saucepan.
3Bring to boil; reduce heat to med-low, cover and cook until water is absorbed, 20 to 25 mins.
4Cool 10 mins.
5Mash with potato masher or fork.
6Refrigerate up to 1 wk.
7Makes 4 ?cups.
