Ingredients:
1/2 lbsChinese egg noodles
-(dried, not fresh)
1 tspSesame oil
1 tspOil
2 ozRaw lean pork
-in match sticks
2 ozRaw lean beef, in match
-book-cover sized pieces
2 ozRaw chicken, in small
-pieces of any shape
2 ozRaw shelled shrimp
-(cooked will do)
2 tspDry sherry
2 tspCornstarch
4 tbspOil
2 ozMushrooms, sliced
-button or reconstituted
-Chinese
2 cupChinese cabbage, shredded
2 Scallions, cut in matches
2 tbspSoy sauce
1 tspSalt
1/2 tspMSG, (or chicken bouillon)
1/4 lbsRaw bean sprouts
Procedures:
1Bring a lot of water to the boil.
2Dump noodles in; turn heat to low.
3Cook 3 minutes.
4Drain, toss with sesame oil and regular oil, set aside.
5In 4 separate dishes, combine each of the meats with ?t sherry and ?t cornstarch.
6Heat the 4 t oil in a skillet or wok to high.
7Add meats in this order, stirring for a few seconds between each addition: pork, beef, chicken, shrimp.
8As soon as you"ve added and tossed the shrimp, add the mushrooms and cabbage.
9Cook until cabbage is wilted.
10Add scallions, soy, salt, and msg.
11Stir.
12Add the noodles and the bean sprouts, and stir-cook for 3 min. serve hot on a warm platter.
