Italian broccoli

Ingredients:
1 largeBunch broccoli
1 smallOnion, chopped
8 largeCloves fresh garlic, chopped
1/2 cupOlive oil
1 cupItalian bread crumbs
3/4 cupGrated Parmesan cheese
1 Egg, beaten lightly
Salt and pepper to taste
Procedures:
1Steam or boil broccoli until tender.
2Drain and mash as you would potatoes, leaving small bits of broccoli.
3In large skillet, saute onion and garlic in oil.
4When onion begins to brown, add broccoli and stir to mix.
5Add bread crumbs and cheese and stir until well blended.
6Remove from heat and add egg.
7Stir again to blend; add seasonings and stir again.
8Place in casserole and, when ready to serve warm in 350°F oven for about 15 minutes.
