Ingredients:
| 1
| large | Bunch broccoli | | 1
| small | Onion, chopped | | 8
| large | Cloves fresh garlic, chopped | | 1/2
| cup | Olive oil | | 1
| cup | Italian bread crumbs | | 3/4
| cup | Grated Parmesan cheese | | 1
| | Egg, beaten lightly | | | Salt and pepper to taste |

Procedures:
| 1 | Steam or boil broccoli until tender. | | 2 | Drain and mash as you would potatoes, leaving small bits of broccoli. | | 3 | In large skillet, saute onion and garlic in oil. | | 4 | When onion begins to brown, add broccoli and stir to mix. | | 5 | Add bread crumbs and cheese and stir until well blended. | | 6 | Remove from heat and add egg. | | 7 | Stir again to blend; add seasonings and stir again. | | 8 | Place in casserole and, when ready to serve warm in 350°F oven for about 15 minutes. |
