Petticoat tails (scottish)

Ingredients:
8 ozFlour
4 ozCornflour or Rice Flour
4 ozButter
4 ozIcing Sugar
Caster Sugar for Dredging
Procedures:
1: set the oven to 350f/gas Grease a baking sheet.
2Cream the butter and icing sugar together in a bowl.
3Sift in the flours and work into a smooth dough; if the dough is too dry a little water can be added to moisten.
4Divide into two.
5Roll out on a floured surface and shape into two thin rounds.
6Place on the sheet and prick all over with a fork.
7Mark each round into 6 triangles.
8Bake for about 20-25 minutes until pale golden in colour.
9Sprinkle with the caster sugar while still warm.
10Cut into the triangles and cool on a wire rack.
