Pasta with smoked salmon and golden caviar

Ingredients:
1 1/2 lbsThin spaghetti
3/4 cupButter, (plus up to 4 T more
-for pasta)
2 cupWhipping cream
1/2 lbsSmoked salmon, thinly sliced
-and cut into ? pieces
White Pepper to taste
1 canGolden caviar (4 oz.), about
-1 T per serving, room
-temperature
Procedures:
11 can golden caviar (4 oz)., about 1 t per serving, room temperature
2cook pasta until al dente; rinse and drain.
3Blend up to 4 tablespoons butter to moisten.
4Melt ?cup butter in a large skillet.
5Add cream and bring to a boil, stirring occasionally.
6Reduce heat to medium and cook sauce until reduced, about 5 minutes.
7Add smoked salmon and white pepper.
8(the smoked salmon will probably eliminate the need for salt).
9Add pasta to sauce and toss gently but thoroughly.
10Heat to warm if necessary.
11Serve immediately with a spoonful of caviar on top or on the side of each serving.
