Ingredients:
2 Pheasants, halved
1 can11 oz. mandarin oranges
1 tbspCornstarch
2 tspGrated lemon peel
1 tbspLemon juice
Procedures:
1Dust oranges, draining syrup into pan.
2Stir in cornstarch, lemon peel and juice.
3Cook until thickened, stirring constantly.
4Remove from heat, add oranges.
5Spoon sauce over birds and cover.
6Bake 15 minutes at 425°F.
7Bake 1 hour 325°F, baste often.
8Remove cover.
9Bake 30 minutes
