Ingredients:
2 cupSelf-rising flour
1 cupBeer, (your favorite brand
Garlic powder, to taste
Salt and pepper, to taste
4 3-5 oz. catfish fillets, cut
Vegetable oil, for frying
Procedures:
1Combine 1 cup flour, beer, garlic salt, salt and pepper in a bowl.
2Mix well.
3Dip catfish strips in remaining flour and then in batter.
4Fry in hot oil in a deep-fryer or skillet until golden brown.
5Drain on absorbent towels.
6Serve hot.
7serve with your favorite sauce.
