| | Onion, peeled | | 2
| | Potatoes | | 1
| | Carrot | | 2
| lbs | Extra-lean ground beef | | 2
| | Eggs -OR- | | 4
| | Egg whites -OR- | | 1/2
| cup | Thawed egg substitute | | 1/2
| cup | Non-fat milk | | 1
| tbsp | Worcestershire sauce (opt) | | 1
| tsp | Dried thyme or other herb | | | Salt or seasoned salt -AND- | | | Pepper to taste |

Procedures:
| 1 | Put onion, potatoes and carrot through a shredder, or the fine shredding disk of a food processor (it"s not necessary to pare potato and carrot). | | 2 | Combine with remaining ingredients; mix well. | | 3 | Shape into a loaf on a non-stick baking sheet. | | 4 | Bake, uncovered, in preheated 350°F oven 1 hour. | | 5 | Makes 10 servings, 170 calories each |
