Ingredients:

| lbs | Unpeeled medium-size fresh | | | - shrimp | | 4
| large | Eggs, beaten | | 2/3
| cup | Commercial spicy French | | | - salad dressing | | 1 1/2
| tbsp | Lemon juice | | 3/4
| tsp | Onion powder | | | Vegetable oil | | 1 1/3
| cup | Crushed saltine crackers | | 2/3
| cup | Crushed corn flakes cereal | | 1/3
| cup | White cornmeal |

Procedures:
| 1 | Peel shrimp, leaving tails intact; devein if desired. | | 2 | Place shrimp in a large shallow dish. | | 3 | Combine eggs and next 3 ingredients; pour over shrimp, stirring gently. | | 4 | Cover and marinate in refrigerator 3 hours, stirring occasionally. | | 5 | Pour oil to depth of 2 inches into a dutch oven; heat to 375 degrees. | | 6 | Combine cracker crumbs, cereal and cornmeal. | | 7 | Remove shrimp from marinade, discarding marinade. | | 8 | Dredge shrimp in cracker mixture, and fry, a few at a time, until golden. | | 9 | Drain. |
