Ingredients:
1 lbsLarge or jumbo shrimp
-cleaned, tails left on
2 tbspOlive oil
1 tbspFinely minced garlic
1 tbspChopped fresh rosemary
1 tbspChopped fresh thyme
1/2 tbspFreshly ground black pepper
1/4 tbspCayenne pepper, or to taste
1/4 tbspSalt
2 Fresh limes, halved
-crosswise (for garnish)
Procedures:
1Caribbeans love spicy food.
2This dish combines rosemary, thyme, cayenne, black pepper and garlic.
3Quickly cooked in a hot skillet, these shrimp make a great appetizer.
4Serve with a splash of fresh lime juice.
5Combine all ingredients except limes.
6Marinate at room temperature for 1 hour.
7Heat a dry skillet over medium-high heat.
8When skillet is hot, lay shrimp in pan.
9Cook shrimp 2-4 minutes per side, depending on size.
10Brush shrimp with remaining marinade before turning.
11Serve with lime.
