Ingredients:
1 1/2 lbsLean ground beef
1/2 lbsBulk Italian sausage
1/2 cupMinced onion
1 tspItalian seasoning
1 tspSalt
2 tspWorcestershire sauce
1/2 tspDried sage
1 cupUnsweetened applesauce
1/2 cupWhole wheat bread crumbs
1/2 cupUnprocessed bran
Procedures:
1Preheat oven to 350 °F.
2Mix all ingredients together well.
3Place 1/3 cup (2 oz).
4Mixture in each of 16 muffin cups.
5Bake at 350°F.
6Until done, about 1 hour.
7Remove from muffin tins.
8Serve hot or cold.
9Note: nice for a picnic.
