Meat/cabbage casserole

Ingredients:
1 lbsLean ground meat
1 eachMedium onion (chopped)
2 tbspButter or margarine
1 cupFinely shredded carrots
3 cupFinely shredded cabbage
1 tspSalt
1 xBlack pepper
16 ozHerb-style spaghetti sauce
1 tbspWorcestershire sauce
1 tbspChopped chives
1/2 cupGrated Cheddar cheese
Procedures:
1Break up meat into a microsafe baking dish.
2Microwave for about 3 minutes at high power until meat loses its pink color.
3Stir and turn meat once.
4Add onion.
5Microwave another 3 minutes until onion is soft.
6Add butter.
7Stir until melted.
8Add carrot.
9Stir to blend well.
10Microwave for 1 minute at high power until carrots are soft.
11Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
12Layer cabbage on top of meat mixture.
13Mix spaghetti sauce, worcestershire sauce, and chives.
14Pour over top and cover.
15Microwave at high power for 10 minutes.
16Stir once or twice and press down slightly.
17Microwave another 3 to 4 minutes.
18Add cheese on top.
19Microwave uncovered until cheese is melted.
20Serve with a green salad or boiled potatoes
