Ingredients:
3 tbspButter
1 cupChopped onion
1 tspGarlic, finely chopped
1/2 cupMinced celery
1 cupApple, small cubes
1/4 cupFlour
1 tbspCurry powder
3/4 tspDry mustard
1 Bay leaf
2 1/2 cupChicken broth
3 cupMeat, bite-size pieces
1/2 cupMilk
3 tbspChutney
4 cupCooked rice
Procedures:
1Melt the butter in a sucepan and add the onion, garlic, celery and apple.
2Cook, stirring often, for about 5 minutes.
3Blend the flour, curry powder and mustard and sprinkle it over the vegetables, stirring.
4Add the bay leaf.
5Add the chicken broth, stirring rapidly with a wire whisk.
6When the mixtures has thickened, le it simmer for 15 minutes.
7Stir often from the bottom to prevent sticking.
8Add meat, milk and finely chopped chutney and simmer for 4 or 5 minutes longer.
9Serve with rice
